To provide access to lifelong learning opportunities for the people of Richmond County.
Objectives
To ensure the continuation of programs and services for adults with low literacy skills in Richmond County.
To improve access to our programs and assist in removing barriers the our learners may have.
To increase public awareness and promotion of the Literacy Network’s mission and work in order to identify, recruit, and maintain learners, staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
To continue to develop strong, effective partnerships or links in order to increase our capacity to address the needs of our participants.
To promote organizational and professional development in order to maintain an efficient and effective literacy organization.
Mission
The Richmond County Literacy Network promotes and supports lifelong learning in Richmond County, Nova Scotia, by providing effective program and service delivery through the maximization of existing resources, collaborative partnerships, and advocacy.
